Fondazione Baruchello and Psicoanalisi al presente renew their collaboration with a new Lacanian seminar. Following the previous edition, the program now turns toward a clinic of immanence, taking as its point of departure Jacques-Alain Miller’s seminar Cose di finezza in psicoanalisi, published in the journal La psicoanalisi (nos. 58-64).
In the words of the curators Felice Cimatti and Alex Pagliardini: “After the sinthomo comes the moment of immanence. To venture into the clinic of the sinthomo we drew upon the seminar L’Uno-Tutto-Solo (The One-All-Alone). To apprehend the clinic of immanence we shall turn to the seminar Cose di finezza in psicoanalisi, both by Jacques-Alain Miller. The point is clear: in the very last phase of his teaching, Jacques Lacan recognizes the vain rhetoric of a clinic grounded in the Other, in transcendence, in desire, and seeks by every means to establish a more rigorous and solid clinic, founded on the insistence of the One, on feminine jouissance, on the non-rapport, that is, on immanence. In this year’s seminar we shall attempt to make do with this point.”
The meetings will take place from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Fondazione Baruchello, Via del Vascello 35, and online via Zoom.
The registration fee for the full seminar is 40.00 euro. A reduced fee is available for students.
