On the occasion of the 2026 edition of Art Genève, the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève is pleased to present Last Lines, an exhibition of 22 drawings by the artist Gianfranco Baruchello. Created during the final years of his life, these drawings appear to inhabit a liminal space in which gesture is no longer an act of construction, but a way of dwelling on the threshold between presence and dissolution. The mark, the line, become portals to the unconscious.
On Saturday 31 January (2:30 pm, booth A2), a conversation with Andrea Bellini, Director of the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève, and Carla Subrizi, Director of the Fondazione Baruchello, will introduce Gianfranco Baruchello’s latest artist’s book, designed by Edoardo Visalli and published by Nero Editions.
Coinciding with the exhibition and the presentation of the volume, two films by Gianfranco Baruchello – Il Grano (1975) and Sull’Agricola Cornelia (1981) – are available to watch online at the following link, together with an interview with Carla Subrizi devoted to the Agricola Cornelia.
